ABOUT THE STRONG ASSESSMENT
The Strong Interest Inventory assessment helps individuals identify their work personality by exploring their interests in six broad areas: realistic, artistic, investigative, social, enterprising, and conventional (often referred to using the acronym RIASEC). ).
It then breaks the RIASEC areas into 30 specific areas of interest that can be directly related to fields of study, careers, and leisure activities. In addition, it describes an individual’s personal style preferences in five areas: work style, learning environment, team orientation, leadership style, and risk taking.
- Backed by over 80 years’ research into how people of similar interests are employed, and what motivates them in the workplace
- Measures preferences within 30 professional fields, from the arts to law
- Ranks the top ten most compatible occupations from a possible 260 specific jobs
- Based on large, representative norms that account for race, age and gender

The Strong High School Profile and the Strong Interpretive Report are included in this bundle. Expanding on the Strong Profile, the 10-page Strong Interpretive Report offers a more in-depth interpretation of your assessment. A 1-hour coaching session is also included to ensure you get the most benefit in understanding and utilizing your Strong results.

Linked to the six General Occupational Themes, this report graphically illustrates how students’ interests compare to their level of confidence in performing certain activities. The Strong Interpretive Report builds on the Strong College Profile by applying key learnings to create a richly textured road map for exploring and pursuing a rewarding life of work and leisure.
College Edition Highlights:
